経年により深みが増し、更に拡がりを持つ(展開する)立体的な年輪をイメージしてデザインしました。
丸は地球、立体的な年輪は日本を表現しています。



Project Growthring - my little pet project I'm working on at the moment. The concept attemps to encapsulate this universal truth that "bridges between people paves ways and give births to things so magical, so precious". Much like the pieces of wood I work with, this new community will grow both in depth and width, rather like the tree rings you find when you take a horizontal disection of a tree. Circle represents earth, tree rings motif has its roots in Japan.
