自分の子どもへのプレゼントとしてデザインしたテーブルと椅子です。
手触りを良くするため、なるべく角を落として柔らかい形状に仕上げています。
各部材はイメージした外観を成し遂げるための最少部材とし、併せて高強度の部材が得られる成形合板技術を活用することにより、
子供が一人で持ち運び出来る重量(KIDS CHAIR : 1.4kg)を実現しました。
天板の形状は優しい石鹸のイメージです。

I designed this item for my own child as a gift.
Corners were rounded to provide contours and give a soft appearance. I intentionally designed this so that even a child could carry this item weighing 1.4 kg on his/her own. In order to achieve this practicality I reduced the number of parts and materials to be used to a bare minimum while ensuring stability and strength of the product through our tried and tested compression technology. I modelled its curved surface to look like a bar of soap.
